It appears to largely achieve these goals, but practice the appearance falls apart. My initial attempt to use it was circa 1st Quarter 2013. This effort is not completed; it's in progress. It has been a disaster. Trying to get it to do what I wanted uncovered all sorts of bugs and shortcomings, and the reliability factor was very low - it required constant attention. I've invested far too much time in it: I may revisit it in the read future and try a new release that has come out this year. Fortunately, software I'd previously written myself does almost everything I need and is incredibly reliable was running in "production mode". The drawback of my software is that it's oriented to terminal windows: not a problem for me, but a problem for others. |
I've had to take a vacation from Airtime, and get back-to-work on other things. Perhaps in the meantime, subsequent releases will make it more viable for my use.
